2.6. Initial balances

Balances at the beginning of the period (necessary for data synchronization if another transaction recording method was previously used). This section can be completed at any time.

Check the box if, before using CONTA.ES, you already had income/expenses from economic activity since the beginning of the year.

If you have checked that before using CONTA.ES you already had income/expenses from economic activity since the beginning of the year, additional fields will open:

• Balances as of (if no date is entered, balances will be saved with the registration date in the CONTA.ES system). This field must indicate the date on which the balances of the economic activity existed.
• In the bank account (mandatory field). The amount must be indicated in euros.
• In cash (mandatory field). The amount must be indicated in euros.
• In the payment system (Revolut/Paypal) (mandatory field). The amount must be indicated in euros.
• Income (mandatory field). The amount must be indicated in euros.
• Expenses. The amount must be indicated in euros.

When all fields are completed, you must click on “SAVE”.
